What are the requirements for registering a .EU domain?

In order to register a .EU domain, the domain owner must be a company or natural person from Europe.

If you do not meet this requirement, we can register the domain in the name of our local representatives and then make it available to you. This option has an additional cost (Trustee Service).

Brexit notice: In case the Domain Owner is from the UK or Gibraltar, he won’t be allowed to hold .EU Domains once Brexit is implemented, however a period of one year will be allowed for them to change their information and fulfill the eligibility requirements. If needed, a trustee service is available, if interested please contact support@nominus.com.
